Under the Red Star is the true-life story of Marzelius Hausmann, known as Mark Houseman, who was born in Russia during the Russian Revolution of 1917. It tells of the sorrows and hardships he and his family had to endure while being exiled to Siberia, and how he was orphaned at the age of 13.
