The family made their way to the unlikely destination of the frontier oil boomtown of Drumright, Oklahoma. They have been passed down from generation to generation (I-dor-vi-dor) and modified along the way. The recipes are accompanied by vintage quotes cooking hints, interesting Oklahoma food facts, and the author's humorous kitchen memories and observations.
